Crafted with pristine fruit, hand harvested from 15-year-old vines in the Queensbury sub-region of Central Otago. The fruit was first crushed and allowed an hour of skin contact, around 40% was then racked to old oak & wild fermented, with the remaining being cool fermented in stainless steel before bottling in August 2021.

The 2021 Mount Michael Pinot Gris has an appealing nose of ripe pear, ginger spice, figs and rose petals. Lots of weight and texture on the palate with notes of red apple and baked pear. The wine is driven by a rich, concentrated mouthfeel, and long textural finish. Complimented by a refreshing acidity and nice phenolic grip.
